Wings of fire - a refresher course to live life

Hey,

It has been a loooong time before I was able to start and finish a book. It has been my only accompolishment in last 6 months or more. The book is about Mr . Kalam, his life, upbringing , his perspective towards life and work, how he managed his office work , the way he co-ordinated things when at DRDO,ISRO & when he was at hyderabad heading the missile project. The one thing that touched me about this man is his simplicity. He still has the innocence of a school boy in his attitude towards his life which made his life fairly simple to handle and free from the complex thought processes of so-called mature people. But even being simple, he had reached such high level of intellect both in science and in life. He has special (hidden) message for people who are project managers and teaches them ways to handle and work with different teams and even a hint on how to perform team appraisal. At more than once, he had faced situation where he was at the low ebb of life. But his strong fundamentals and seamless faith in
"Allah" helped him sail through the situation. Each failure was considered an oppurtunity to dig and find new bright ideas to succeed. The missile man of india had the zeal of working hard( i mean real hard) and learning new things even at the time when he was being conferred Bharat Vibhushan or a doctorate. The never ending urge to learn new and complex things and the belief to answer all the problems in life in a scientific and methodological manner is what sets him apart from average indian.

If only I could meet him in person ,that would be have been quite an experience of life...

Care
Himanshu
